Decide per platform, not per habit

The final approval question: does the processed platform version preserve the approved message, framing, captions, sound and visual quality well enough for the intended audience and placement?

Close with one of five outcomes.

Export approved. The local file and the processed upload both preserve the approved edit.
Approved with minor delivery corrections. Cover, filename or metadata fixes remain; the video itself is right.
New export required. The edit is right but the rendered file is not. Re-export; do not touch the timeline.
Return to edit review. The export exposed a content problem. Back to the edit checklist before rendering again.
Platform upload not approved. The processed version damages the message. Adjust for that platform or reconsider the placement.

Why review the export when the timeline was approved?

Rendering can expose a wrong sequence, a missing layer, shifted captions or colour changes that the editor preview never showed.

Should every social video be 1080 by 1920?

No. The right dimensions follow the exact platform and placement, checked against current requirements.

Is 30 FPS always the best frame rate?

No. Match the approved production workflow and the destination.

Is MP4 always right?

Usually accepted, never guaranteed. Verify the container and codecs against the destination.

What is a safe zone?

The area where text, logos and the subject are less likely to be covered by the platform interface. It differs per platform and per placement.

Should captions be checked again after export?

Yes. Rendering can shift timing, clip words at the canvas edge or blur text under compression.

Why do a test upload?

Does a higher bitrate or 4K make the upload better?
