How to add B-roll, zooms and text
ReadyForm places supporting visuals while making the edit: B-roll found for your words, zooms on emphasis, text where it helps. All of it is yours to change. B-roll comes from stock search and from your own Library uploads; ReadyForm never generates footage.

See what a scene carries
Select the scene; its B-roll and overlays are listed with their timing ("No B-roll or overlays in this scene." when empty). Each entry has At and Duration in seconds.

Add B-roll
Use Add B-roll. The picker has two tabs: Stock, where you type to search stock video, and Library, your own reusable uploads with an Upload button right in the tab.

Place and trim it
The clip lands in the scene; drag it on the timeline, trim its edges, or Split at playhead. Edit B-roll reopens its settings; Remove takes it out.

Set a zoom
Add zoom offers three moves: Slow push-in (zooms in slowly and stays), Snap in (snaps in and stays) and Snap in & back (snaps in, then eases back). One per scene; Remove clears it.

Add text on screen
Text on screen places an overlay that isn't tied to speech. Text style controls its font, colour, background and opacity; Back to caption style hands it back to the video's caption look.
If something looks off
- The stock search finds nothing. Type at least two characters and try broader terms. Stock search looks for footage, not concepts: "laptop desk" beats "productivity".
- The B-roll covers the wrong moment. Drag it on the timeline or adjust At and Duration. B-roll should start when the sentence it supports starts.
- A visual would break the message. Then remove it. A talking head with nothing over it beats a distracting clip. Density is a brand edit rule (B-roll density) if it keeps happening.
