Help · Export & download

Why an export is still processing

Rendering is real work: every cut, caption, zoom, B-roll clip and sound gets baked into one file. The render panel shows the state honestly, including when it started, and a countdown when the end is near ("~20s left", "almost done…").

What decides the duration

The length of the video, the number of clips and layers, and how busy the render service is. A one-minute short with heavy B-roll takes longer than a bare talking head.

What the states mean

Queued: waiting for a slot. Processing / Rendering: the work is happening, with "started X ago" next to it. Ready: done. Leaving the page is fine; the render continues server-side and the app says "Your export is still running." when you come back.

When it's actually stuck

The pipeline guards itself: a render that takes too long is stopped with the explicit error "The render took too long and was stopped. Please try again." So a silent, endless render is rare; a failed one tells you.

If something looks off

  • It failed with the timeout error. Try again once; most timeouts are transient load. Failing twice on the same video is worth a support message with the video name.
  • I want to stop a running render. The render panel has Cancel (it asks: "Cancel this render?"). Cancelling doesn't touch your edits.
