How to prepare your takes before uploading
ReadyForm edits what you recorded; it cannot restore a sentence that was never captured. A few recording habits make the difference between a complete edit that lands and one that needs another session.

Record for one video at a time
One upload is one intended short. Record multiple takes, alternative hooks and alternative endings freely, but keep material for different videos in different uploads.

Speak in complete thoughts
Finish your sentences and leave a short pause before and after each one. Cuts land on word boundaries, and complete sentences give the AI clean places to cut.

Correct mistakes cleanly
Fumbled a line? Stop, pause briefly, and repeat the whole sentence. Don't restart mid-word; the retake gets detected and the strongest version wins.

Keep the setup consistent
Same camera position, framing, light and microphone across takes. The more alike your takes look and sound, the more freely they can be combined.

Watch names, numbers and claims
Say names, prices and percentages carefully, and only claim what you can stand behind. The edit will faithfully keep what you said.

Check each file before uploading
Play every file once: does it open, is the audio there, is the take usable? Leave out setup fragments and camera tests.
If something looks off
- Everything sits in one long file. That works, as long as it's material for one intended short. The AI cuts it into scenes itself.
- The audio is rough on the best take. If important words are hard to hear, record a clean replacement. Understandable speech is the raw material for everything else: captions, cuts, take selection.
