How to regenerate a video with AI
Regenerate with AI re-runs the whole pipeline on the same footage: fresh take selection, fresh cuts, fresh pacing. It's the move when you want a different edit, not a fixed one.
- 1
Start it from the video page
Regenerate with AI asks for confirmation: "This re-runs the AI and creates a new version of the video."
- 2
Decide about your edits
If you made manual edits, the app asks: "Would you like to keep your edits?" Keep my edits saves the new AI version so you can switch to it later; Use the new AI version replaces your edits now.
- 3
Give it context first when accuracy is the problem
Regenerating with the same inputs improves structure, not transcription. Wrong names or terms: fix the brand keywords, or make a new video with the script pasted at upload.
- 4
Compare and pick
Watch the new version whole. If you kept your edits, switch between versions and keep the stronger one.
If something looks off
- Will this cost credits? A regeneration runs the pipeline again; your credit balance is visible in the app, and one standard video uses 250 credits. Your balance tells you before you confirm.
- The new version lost my favourite scene. That's what Keep my edits is for. If you replaced them, the source takes are all still there: rebuild the scene by switching takes and restoring cuts.
