How to check your clips
Every video page lists its source files under Your clips, with the count next to it. That list is your inventory check: everything you meant to upload, nothing you didn't.
- 1
Count and compare
The header counts the clips. Compare with what you recorded; a missing take now is cheaper than a missing sentence later.
- 2
Open a clip
Each clip can be opened and played as the raw original. Filenames stay yours, so recognisable recording names pay off here.
- 3
Remove what doesn't belong
Delete file removes one clip, with a confirmation: "This deletes «name». Can't be undone." An unrelated recording pollutes take selection, so take it out before regenerating.
- 4
Download originals when needed
Each clip has its own Download. Your source material stays retrievable, independent of the rendered video.
If something looks off
- A take is in the wrong video. Delete it there and upload it to the right video. Clips don't move between videos.
- A clip plays wrong (no sound, black frame). That clip will also fail transcription. Replace it with a clean export of the same recording; the render errors will otherwise name it.
