How captions work in ReadyForm
Captions are made with the edit itself: the speech is transcribed, every word gets its timing, and the captions render into the video. There is no separate subtitle file to manage, and no separate transcript to keep in sync; the story in the editor is the captions.
That gives captions three layers of control: the words (edited in the story), the style (chosen for the whole video), and the fine-tuning (Customize, plus per-scene details like highlights).
The words
Edit a word in the story and the caption follows. Remove words from the captions without cutting the audio with the remove-from-captions control on a selection.
The style
Caption style opens the style browser: browse with the arrows, every pick shows on your video right away, Continue confirms. The style applies to the whole video; one option carries a Recommended badge.
The timing
Words appear as they are spoken. After edits the timing is briefly estimated and fixes itself on the next preview; Re-sync with audio does it on the spot.
What ReadyForm doesn't do
No translation, no separate SRT or VTT files, no custom font uploads. Captions ship rendered into the video, in the language you spoke.
