How to retry a failed video
The retry controls are right where the failure shows. The discipline that keeps things clean: read the error first, retry once, and never build a duplicate video while the original is still doing something.
- 1
Read the error
It names the fix. A footage error means retrying changes nothing until you replace the file; a service error means retrying is exactly right.
- 2
Use the button the app offers
Try again on the failed video, Create again after a finished one, and Finish setup when the upload itself never completed. One click, then let it run.
- 3
Replace the file when the error says so
For a broken clip: delete that file (Delete file, it confirms first), upload the re-exported version, and run again.
- 4
Escalate after two identical failures
Contact support with the video name, the exact error and the time. Ten undocumented retries help nobody; two documented failures get fixed.
If something looks off
- Did the failure cost credits? Your balance is always visible in the app, and one standard video uses 250 credits. Check the balance; if a failed run charged you, say so in your support message and it gets looked at.
- I accidentally made the same video twice. Keep the one with the furthest status and delete the other (Delete video removes it and all its files, permanently).
